Soy

The export of soybeans was introduced commercially in Brazil in the South region in the 1960s, and in the last 50 years has expanded to all regions of the country.
It stands out its growth in the cerrados of the Midwest and, more recently, in the North and Northeast regions, following the paths of rural migration of entrepreneurs, and small producers.
Soybeans are the most important agricultural crop in Brazil and supply the domestic market with edible oil and oil for biodiesel production, as well as with meal in the production of pigs and poultry. Projections indicate growth in global demand for soybeans, especially in Asia, which will be a great business opportunity for Brazil.
